Product Description

Sand-vik 80759069 Accumulator Gas Charging Valve

Part No. 80759069 is an original nitrogen charging valve (also called gas filling valve / pressure retaining valve) for Sand-vik DD/DL series underground development drill rigs and longhole drill rigs. It is used for nitrogen filling, pressure detection and pressure sealing of hydraulic accumulators. This original part features a compact threaded structure with a yellow protective cap.

1. Basic Information

  • Part Number: 80759069 (Full code: 807 590 69)
  • Brand: Sand-vik
  • Type: Accumulator Gas Charging Valve
  • Applicable Models:
    • DD Series: DD2100, DD2710, DD3110, DD422iE and other underground development drill rigs
    • DL Series: DL2100, DL2710 and other longhole drill rigs
    • Other Equipment: Accumulator circuits of TB40, TB60 and RD520 hydraulic rock drills

  • Function: Serves as the exclusive port for nitrogen charging and pressure testing of accumulator gas chamber, and maintains pressure by sealing.

2. Core Functions

  • Nitrogen filling: Connect with nitrogen cylinder and charging tools to fill high-pressure nitrogen into the accumulator. Standard pre-charge pressure: 80–100 bar.
  • Pressure detection: Connect external pressure gauge to monitor nitrogen pressure for routine maintenance and calibration.
  • Pressure sealing: Built-in one-way sealing structure automatically closes after charging to prevent nitrogen leakage and keep stable system pressure.
  • Overload protection: Releases pressure slightly under abnormal overpressure to protect accumulator shell and hydraulic components.

3. Key Specifications

  • Max Working Pressure: 350 bar, suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems
  • Applicable Gas: High-purity nitrogen (N₂)
  • Thread Type: Standard metric external thread for direct installation on accumulator
  • Valve Body Material: High-strength carbon steel with anti-rust treatment
  • Seal Material: FKM fluoroelastomer, featuring high pressure resistance, oil resistance and high temperature resistance
  • Operating Temperature: -30℃ ~ +120℃
  • Weight: Approximately 0.056 kg
  • Appearance: Silver metal valve body with yellow plastic protective cap for anti-collision and dust prevention

4. Appearance & Structure

  • Overall structure: Compact cylindrical threaded valve. One end with external thread for mounting on accumulator, and the other end is gas charging port fitted with yellow protective cap.
  • Internal structure: Composed of one-way spool, spring and sealing assembly. The spool is pushed open during charging and closes automatically to achieve sealing.
  • Original marking: Part number 80759069 and Sand-vik logo engraved on valve body. The protective cap is designed to prevent loss.

5. Replacement & Compatibility

  • Genuine part: 80759069 is the only standard model with no alternative upgraded parts.
  • Interchangeability: Not compatible with similar valves of Epiroc and Atlas Copco due to different port sizes and thread specifications.
  • Installation Position: Gas port on the top of hydraulic accumulator, applied for hydraulic stations and rock drill accumulator assemblies of DD/DL drill rigs.

6. Common Faults & Maintenance

  • Air leakage / Pressure loss: Caused by aging seals, worn spool or impurities entering due to missing protective cap. Solution: Replace the whole valve and check the protective cap regularly.
  • Failed gas charging: Caused by stuck spool or damaged thread. Solution: Clean the port or replace with a new valve.
  • Maintenance Schedule: Check gas pressure every 500 working hours; replace the charging valve every 1000 working hours to avoid leakage caused by component aging.
