II. Mannheim Standard Maintenance Cycle (General, applicable to diesel/gas engines)

Daily/Per Start

• Oil level, coolant level, fuel pressure/diesel level

• Leakage (oil/water/gas), belt tension, and air filter housing cleanliness

• Battery terminals, control module alarm records

50 hours (first maintenance for new unit)

• Change the engine oil + filter

• Clean the air filter and inspect the intake/exhaust pipes.

• Gas engine: Check the spark plug clearance and ignition coil

250 hours (minor maintenance)

• Oil + Engine Filter (6.234.0940.009.4 / 12201751)

• Fuel/gas filter element (12302345 / 6.234.0853.006.4)

• Check the belt, tension wheel, and cooling system.

• Gas engine: Clean the spark plugs and inspect the ignition module.

500 hours (medium maintenance)

• Including all items for 250 hours

• Replace the air filter element (12420369 / 12420368)

• Replace water filter/coolant (12028031)

• Check the injector/gas nozzle and valve clearance

• Gas engine: Verify ignition timing, replace high-voltage wires

2000 hours/12 months (major maintenance)

• Including all items for 500 hours

• Replace the belt + tension wheel

• Check the fuel injector/gas nozzle and high-pressure oil pump

• Turbocompressor inspection (for turbocharged models)

• Calibration of the generator bearing lubrication and control module

• Gas engine: Replace spark plugs and ignition coil

4000–8000 hours (major overhaul)

• Cylinder liner, piston, piston rings, large and small bearings, valves, oil seals, etc.

• Gas engine: Major overhaul of cylinder head, replacement of valve seat rings/pipes

III. Key Maintenance Points for Common Malfunctions at Mannheim

1) Difficult to start/Cannot start

• Battery low: Charge/Replace (24V)

• Fuel/gas intake air: Exhaust air, inspect piping

• Filter element clogging: Replace diesel/gas filter

• Gas engine: Carbon buildup on spark plugs, ignition coil failure

2) Weak performance, heavy black/blue smoke emission

• Air filter clogged: Replace the air filter

• Injection nozzle/gas nozzle atomization performance: Calibration

• Turbocharger failure (for turbocharged models)

• Poor valve sealing and insufficient cylinder pressure

3) High water temperature/overheating

• Water tank blockage and scale: Clean

• The thermostat won't open: Replace (12454372)

• Fan belt slipping: Adjust tension or replace the belt

• Insufficient or degraded coolant: Add or replace

4) Low engine oil pressure, alarm

• Insufficient oil: Add oil to the standard level

• Machine filter clogging: Replace

• Oil pump wear: Repair/replace

• Main shaft bearing/ connecting rod bearing wear: Major overhaul required

5) Specific faults of gas engines (backfire/ignition knocking)

• Air-fuel ratio imbalance: Adjust gas pressure/inlet air volume

• Spark plug aging: Replace

• Ignition timing deviation: recalibrate
