Product Description
12420021 is a standard size crankshaft thrust washer for DEUTZ MWM 620 series engines. It limits the axial movement of the crankshaft and is used together with main bearings 12420020 / 12420022.

2. Technical Parameters & Installation

  • Standard Axial Clearance: 0.10–0.20 mm. Replace the washer if the clearance exceeds the specified range.
  • Installation Direction: Place the grooved side against the thrust surface of the crankshaft, and the plain side against the cylinder block. Keep the locating tabs facing outwards.
  • Common Failures: Alloy layer wear, peeling and ablation, which will cause excessive crankshaft axial movement, abnormal noise and severe vibration.
  • Overhaul Interval: Replace together with main bearings and connecting rod bearings every 8000–10000 operating hours.
