Product Description
12300234 is a dedicated intake valve for DEUTZ MWM 620 series engines. It is a key part of the valve train and compatible with TBG620 V16(6002) gas engine.

1. Basic Information

  • Part Number: 12300234 (OEM original part)
  • Type: Intake Valve
  • Applicable Models: MWM TBG620 V12/V16/V20 and TBD620 series gas & diesel engines
  • Material: High-temperature resistant alloy valve steel with reinforced valve head surface, featuring excellent wear resistance, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance
  • Structure: Integral forging with precision ground valve stem for superior sealing performance
  • Original Reference Price (2026): Approximately €42–48 per piece (exclusive of tax)
  • Related Parts:
    • 12300235: Exhaust Valve
    • Valve seat insert, valve guide and valve spring (matching parts)

2. Functions & Features

It controls the intake stroke of the cylinder. When opened, it draws in air-fuel mixture or fresh air; when closed, it seals the combustion chamber.

The valve can withstand long-term high temperature, high pressure and reciprocating impact loads, suitable for continuous operation of the unit.

3. Common Failures & Replacement

  • Common issues: Valve head wear, ablation, carbon deposit, valve stem scoring and poor sealing, which will lead to power reduction, abnormal exhaust and increased fuel consumption.
  • Replacement Interval: Inspect and replace during major overhaul every 8000–10000 operating hours under normal operation.

4. Installation Instructions

  1. Thoroughly clean carbon deposits and dirt on valves, valve seats and guides before installation.
  2. Check valve clearance. Standard intake valve clearance: 0.30–0.35 mm.
  3. Ensure full seating of the valve without air leakage.
  4. Apply special lubricant during assembly to prevent valve stem sticking.
