6. Installation Instructions

  1. Install with OEM marked orientation, reverse mounting forbidden;
  2. Fully remove old gasket residue, carbon deposit and rust; flange flatness ≤0.06 mm;
  3. Tighten bolts diagonally in 3 stages:

    Pre-torque:40 N·m → Intermediate torque:75 N·m → Final torque:110~120 N·m
  4. Retighten final torque after 2 hours cold startup operation;
  5. Do not apply liquid sealant, excess glue causes over-compression and gasket extrusion;
  6. Replace with new gasket unconditionally once manifold is disassembled; reuse prohibited.

7. Replacement Criteria

Replace gasket 12420484 if any issue occurs:
  1. Graphite layer burnt, steel layer perforated, delamination or flattened sealing beads;
  2. Audible exhaust hissing, local flange overheating and red hot;
  3. Individual cylinder exhaust temperature abnormal, power derate and frequent unit alarms;
  4. Adjacent hoses/wiring baked and carbonized by leaked hot gas;
  5. Torque retightening fails to eliminate persistent leakage.
